Cleanroom Ceiling Sealant

An exposed edge is created when tiles are cut to fit the ceiling grid or when sprinkler pipe or head must penetrate the ceiling surface. Sealing your ceiling tiles helps to reduce the amount of particle emission by preventing contamination from sloughing off an exposed tile edge, and thereby improving the standard of your cleanroom environment. Sealants are available for both heavy- and lightweight tiles. One quart of sealant covers 50 linear feet if brushed on or 300 linear feet it is sprayed on the tiles.
